@Bob do you have any suggestions on supplements that could perhaps help the pemf be more effective
The ones that I think helped me mostly are the ones that are now pretty commonly known:
Vitamin D3
Vitamin K2 (as MK-7)
magnesium (citrate, et al., NOT magnesium oxide)
Hives probably due to toxicity, and Pawluk knew it, thereby advising against PEMF usage which would have worsened thingsā¦(Herxheimerās/Die-off)
The only path open to your friend wouldāve been drastic weight loss with detox and concurrent PEMF therapy.
I will give my experience. Inflammation is what I see as the root cause of a majority health issues including joint pain. Pemf is great but it cannot cure anything by itself including inflammation. Supplements cannot cure anything by themselves either. There are three things that every one has to do in order to reduce inflammation in my opinion. The first is diet. Switch to A Mediterranean diet and you will thank me. I immediately noticed a decrease in my inflammation and an increase in energy. Next start yoga or a similar stretching routine that you do every day. The human body needs exercise or it will never improve. Finally pemf. Pemf is the icing on top of the cake as it keeps your insides going. These three things have made my entire body pain free. My blood biomarkers match those of people 20 years younger than me.
I agree with that. I think the real value of PEMF is that it allows you to break out of the self-reinforcing trap of chronic inflammation and pain, so that you can do the things you need to do.
For example, chronic pain can be debilitating, so much so that things like yoga are simply not possible to do.
PEMF can allow you to break free of the trap. It has given me more than a decade of movement, exercise, and general improvement. But you can not expect to just sit there once the pain is reduced or eliminated. Other lifestyle changes will also be required, and PEMF can help you get a āsecond chanceā to make it right.
I am having trouble determining which device to purchase (M1, C5, or B5). I am looking to experiment on myself with improving a section of my tibia that is degenerating and the bone on bone condition of my ankle due to a traumatic crush injury from a motor vehicle accident. Does anyone have any personal experience that may help me decide?
I own both the M1 and C5. When I broke my elbow, I bought the m1. Later, I bought the c5 and my dog sleeps on it all day (trying to extend his life). I think of the c5 as the stationary device- meaning I need to be sleeping with it or sitting at my desk for a long time. Alternatively you could buy 2 M1s for less than a c5 and keep the hyper mobile benefits you get from the m1 and use on both your tibia and your ankle.
haha i just got the c5 and in hindsight i think 1 device isnāt enough to get solid benefit from icesā¦ i started with an a9 with 2 pairs of coils working with an audio splitter and got good results in reducing inflammation and mitigating pain. worked well for arthritis in hands, lower back pain, kids bruises, pulsing water, adult bruises, stiff tendons in handā¦
c5 made sleeping thru the night just a one off like one deviceā¦ with coffee i could still sleep thru the night and wake up with a full bladder (didnāt get up to pee)ā¦ that said, i was able to sleep thru the night if i didnāt have coffee for 2 days. so in a bad way, c5 could be used as my crutch to have coffee and still sleep thru the night. this would work just buy placing stacked coils side by side along liver or gut thru the night at 9ā¦ solid sleep
i honestly believe the full mattress will provide the right amount of pemf for the body to rest and heal at night. if i had 2 or 3 c5s Iād be complete and going to bed on that would be sufficient without need for day use (for general health). my only challenge would be waking up in a tangle of cords
Thanks for sharing the finding on how you can sleep through the night now without a trip to the restroom. When you mention mattress, are you referring to one of Dr. Bobās next design efforts (full body)?
yes, when i mentioned mattress, Iām talking about the full body pemf he is working on.
also, above (corrected now) i meant to say that having 2-3 c5s used at night would possibly provide sufficient coverage across the body that we likely would be fine not using it during the day
Donāt know if this will contribute to any of the information out there ā purely anecdotal, mind.
A few years back, I bought the Sedona PEMF mat to treat my extensive nerve damage. Spent several thousand dollars and chalked it up to a waste of money, because I didnāt see any results in all that time even though I used it every day religiously for upwards 2-3X daily, initially overnight, and later just half an hour to an hour per session.
A little bit of background here, 20 years ago I had a partial hysterectomy due to overgrown fibroids. The tumours had grown so big, my uterus got wedged into my spinal cord and compressed the nerves resulting in extensive nerve damage, causing me constant chronic pain that no amount of painkillers could alleviate. Previous to this, I was really into intensive tai chi qigong martial arts training, and it was a blow to me when I could no longer maintain the stances.
As a result of nerve damage, I had trouble with my knees, sharp agonizing pain when bending them. Going down the stairs I had to support myself with the railings. Going up, I had to pull myself up to prevent excess weight on the knees.
I tried exercise on the elliptical and YSD a TCM modality of alternative health to help manage the pain, in addition to heat therapy, meditation, and the PEMF mat. Heat therapy and exercise on the elliptical did seem to alleviate some of the pain, but even so, I still had pain that restricted my mobility.
First several years, went to see so many specialists, Iāve lost count. Went through a gamut of xrays, nuclear scans, CAT scans, MRI. No cancer or arthritis, but some wear on the cartilage, nothing serious. One specialist even said it was all in my head when he couldnāt find anything on the nuclear scan. Thanks ā he doesnāt know the answer and decides my pain is psychosomatic, in short that I was crazy! One neurologist concluded nerve damage caused the pain, only because nothing else could account for it.
That was the main reason I bought the Sedona mat, so I was really disappointed when after several months I didnāt see any improvements in my condition. But I figured, Iāve already spent thousands of dollars, I might as well put it to good use, so I continued to use it every day upwards to three times a day.
Couple of months ago, donāt know when it happened, but I suddenly noticed no pain in the knees! I still had pain everywhere else in the body ā shoulders, elbows, arthritic fingers, ankles, abdomen, and lots of painful muscle crampingā¦ but Iāve been free of knee pain for the last 2 months now.
I donāt know if it was a combination of factors that helped (most likely) ā YSD, heat therapy, exercise, and PEMF, but having read your post I believe now maybe the Sedona PEMF did help but at a much slower rate than I had expected. I stopped treating the knees recently and started a new protocol on the Sedona for my heart (had a heart attack a couple of years ago) and arthritis. If it takes longer to heal, so be it, Iāve lived with so much pain for so long, Iām prepared to be patient even if it takes several years, as long as it improves my quality of life. At least now, Iām pain-free in the knees, it means I can go back to training in tai chi qigong since it was the bent-knee stances that I couldnāt manage before.
And on another note, I donāt know if this will contribute anything here for anyone with joint pain ā Iāve trained in tai chi qigong for 35 years and taught many students over the years. I had students who broke their bones and healed them literally in days through tai chi qigong ā not something I expected would happen ā but at the time, they took xrays before and after, so we know the breaks were there and xrays after showed the bone knitting. I also had a student who had ankylosing spondylitis where the bones fused her spinal cord together and she was able to recover some of her mobility through tai chi qigong. Anyway, I donāt think science can explain all this, but it certainly offers much room for thought.
It doesnāt matter how long it takes, if PEMF can help with the joints, in my case the knees, in addition to the tai chi qigong I can now practice, then Iām prepared to be patient. As anyone with debilitating chronic pain knows, pain can be very draining both physically and mentally on overall health and Iām prepared to do whatever it takes to improve the quality of my health (and life).
Hello Bob,
Thanks for all of your research and continuing development. I have just acquired one of your A9s. It is an A9b SN MPA9b 25886. I will be using it primarily for joints (knees and hips). X-Rays in 2019 showed complete deterioration of right hip joint (bone on bone) and thinning cartilage on both knees and left hip. I am very fortunate in that the right hip pain is minimal and does not interfere with sleep. My goal is to maintain the current condition by using PEMF daily going forward. My secondary goal is to avoid joint replacements.
In your opinion(not medical advice), is the A9b an appropriate device for this purpose?
What is the protocol for the A9b?
Best Regards,
waltlf (walter hall)
It was the A9 that really worked for my right hip about 12 years ago. Basically just use the protocol on the A9 (Omni-8) at āHā with stacked coils (bumps-to-bumps) directly over the point on your skin closest to the painful joint area,
Thanks Bob, much appreciated.

Hi Bob,
I just purchased the M1. Waiting for its arrival.
Arthritis runs in both side of my family. I am 64 and have bad arthritis in knees and hips.
Iām an OCD person. I will document my usage, experiments and will report back soon.
Thanks so much for this helpful post.
Warmest regards,
Tu
Thanks.
I find personally that there is a very good synergistic effect for arthritis in my hands and feet and shoulder bursitis when I use DMSO + PEMF. I find this DMSO product very convenient (I have no affiliation with the DMSO product, I just like it):
