I just received by M1 and add-ons, as listed under the device at https://www.fluxhealth.co/m1#applications
(The 2x2 add-on at Delta setting, power level 9, didn’t do anything for my sleep.)
So, as I was reading in the forum this morning, I ran into suggestions that the 2x2 array is not suitable for the M1.
I need a definitive answer.
Thank you.
I found the answer on my own, but I’m leaving this up for others who may be searching. The FAQ states that " The long, medium, and short coil pairs and the 2 x 2 coil array are all compatible with the Model A9 and Model M1. The Deep-Field Coils are only compatible with the Model C5 and Model B5, since they require two synchronized output channels."
2x2 coils will work with the M1, but they drain the battery more quickly.
I was told by Flux Health that the 2x2 coils could only be used with the M1 at half strength power or lower and that it drains the battery faster. Can they be used with the A9? I have both, but my brand new 2x2 coils I purchased several years ago never worked with the M1. I thought they were defective. No sound and no lighting up the tester, but trying them in the A9 just now they work. My M1 which has had a tiny fraction of the use that my several A9s have had is no longer working due to the plug in of the coils not contacting correctly somehow - it would work a few months ago if I wiggled the coil plug in a bit and held it in that spot. (It also had one of the narrow sides around the battery snap, tried to glue it back on but it did not last, and then later the other narrow side broke as well, and now the readout screen is going dim on part of it. I take very good care of it and my A9s have been used 99% of the time over the M1. I think it really needs a cover for the battery - I don’t use the battery covers on the A9 as it falls off constantly without an elastic band on it.)
But I would love to know if I can use the 2x2 coils with the A9 at low or medium level? I was under the impression it would damage it by using it with the 2x2s as I was informed by your office.
The standard 2x2 coils work fine with the A9. (Scroll up a couple comments to see my previous comment.)
The 2x2 coils are designed to work very well with the A9 at all power levels. So far, no problems with that.
I have been using the 2x2 with the M1 on level 12 with great success on my dogs spinal condition.
interesting… what kinds of improvements have you been seeing?
@Bob,
Can you confirm that a coil tester is included with the M1 package?
The photo shows a coil tester, but it is not listed under “Technical Info, System includes” list.
Thanks!
It is supposed to be. You can contact customer service to verify that they still include it:
Thanks! Customer support confirmed that yes, the coil tester is included with the M1.
