I have an A9 that ive used for various aches and pains. i need surgery to address a chronically compressed ulnar nerve in my elbow (no visible muscle wasting yet, thankfully, but reduced strength and dexterity, pain, and reduced sensations in pinky and index (im also only using one finger on the affected hand to type… its rough). ive been using pemf a bit to help this, but im pretty nervous about the recovery of this because nerves are notoriously slow to regenerate. im planning on asking the surgical team to wrap the coils in the padded part of the dressing as I’ve heard the padding can be quite extensive.
Has anyone used pemf to treat a procedure like this? Im not sure the best location to have them apply it either? sandwich the joint, or my gut is saying put both along the nerve in its new location side by side.
I want to be able to give clear instructions (because i’ll be asleep, lol), and i dont want to inconvenience anyone (and if side by side, i might just tape the coils in a row to make a neat little pouch to prevent any confusion (end up with or one bumpy side up and the other smooth side up.).
