Any thoughts on what orientation might be best to apply coils to an ulnar nerve decompression or transposition (cubital tunnel surgery)?
Won’t know until I wake up which procedure is done, but curious if along the nerve or sandwiching the joint might be better for my A9 (I’m guessing along the nerve–but with coils touching or separated?, but open to thoughts). I’ll hopefully chat with the surgical team and ideally they’ll apply it above the sterile dressing but underneath the bulky padding with the cord hanging out.
Has anyone convinced a surgery team to do something like this?
