Hello,
I am currently using a bone growth stimulator using the CMF technology. I have pars fractures that has been treated with stem cells a few months ago and my new MRI showed bridging and it’s a big victory.
I’m also suffering from facet joints atrophy at the same level and was wondering if I could use my recently bought A9 PEMF device.
My CMF stimulator states that I can only use it 30min per day, any downside of using the A9 for the rest of the day?
Thank you very much
I absolutely would use it during the day (all day) or when you sleep (all night). Especially with what you are describing. If you are into researching there are several books/podcasts that will help explain/understand PEMF. Dr. Robert Dennis has several podcast along with Dr. Jerry Tennant and Dr. William Pawluk.
I have the same condition and had a similar treatment a few weeks ago (did you get your stem cell treatment done with Dr. McMurtrey?). So awesome you saw bridging! I hope you had a bit celebration. I have been using my A9 device for at least 12 hours per day since the week before my injections. I use the 2x2 coil set up. My spouse made another pemf device that is larger and has different properties to it (bipolar capabilities and is programmable). I’ve been using that larger device for about an hour every day as well to try to cover a larger area.
Hi,
Yes I did! I did two treatments with him, one in January and the other one three weeks ago. Despite seing great results with the first treatment I decided to go all in with a second one to be as recovered as possible for the arrival of my first child in august.
I wish you a great recovery, please keep me posted here on how you feel!
Thank you, I will certainly do!
I really appreciated Dr. M and his approach and bedside manner. I’m 4.5 weeks post-injection right now and keep crossing all my fingers and toes and wearing my A9 unit constantly to hopefully have the same results you had. How did you get additional imaging ordered after your first procedure? One ortho I saw refused to order imaging (in her mind, “stem cells are a waste of money and you can’t heal a pars defect”).
Are you on Reddit? There’s a subreddit group for people who have had a procedure with Dr. McMurtrey and it’s so helpful to have a community of people who are going through something similar.
Good luck with your recovery! I think that with the 2x2 coil the effect is more diffuse…?
I’m not sure about the right positioning for our issue. I’m side by side with 2 coils, but one on top of the other could be even more impactful?
I’m in the group on Reddit, my nickname is “Ookllie”. It’s great to see everyone results.
For the MRI I just go private, I’m in Canada so I guess it’s a little bit different than in the US but by paying out of pocket it’s easier to get a quick appointment.
