P9 question

This may be a dumb question, but I was about to order a P9. Does it come with a usb cable or do I need to buy separately? It appears it’s separate, but wanted to check before ordering

I just received my p9, it does not come with a USB cable but any micro USB cable would work to power it. It also comes with a 9 volt battery (non-rechargeable). I havent used the usb to power the p9 yet, just the 9 volt.

Thank you Matt, I appreciate it.

Keep in mind: the USB cable is only needed if you want to power the device from a USB charging block (not a data port, like in a laptop). The battery needs to be removed for charging (so that you can quickly swap batteries), so the USB cable is also not needed for recharging the battery. It is only needed if you want long-term (example: all night) full power operation without worrying about a battery running out.

Thanks @Bob! I do want to try sleeping with it, since I suffer from insomnia and have heard others have had success using the M1 or C5 coils under their pillow or on their head.

OK, any USB Type A to USB Mini (not micro) cable will do. You may want a long one (6 or 10 feet) to reach your pillow.

@Bob how long is the Mini-b cable with wall adapter that you sell?

I actually do not handle fulfillment, so you should contact support and ask them. Depending on what you actually need, you might be better off buying your own.

@Bob thank you. I just ordered the P9 today. I’m excited to try it out.

The P9 has been great so far, but for sleep I have been using the xpulser, which is basically just the A9 set to 3 hz, for sleep. Bob developed it for Dr. Pawluk.
Here is Bob explaining what he did in a post: XPulser Deep Sleep AME Tuner
Very happy with the product, been using it for the past few months.

Thanks @MattK. My understanding is the P9 can be used the same way, but has more options. Since I also have some brain fog and inflammation, I wanted to be able to try different frequencies during the day as well to see what helped.

I completely understand. I have been using the theta setting for meditation induction and the Omni8 protocol for skeletal muscular pain.
I havent used the P9 for more than 45 minutes at a time though, so I dont know how it would perform all night. Please let me know how it goes if you do end up using it for sleep.

Will do. I just bought a USB cord so I can plug it in next to my bed to run it all night. I’m going to try putting the coils in my pillowcase at the base of my head initially, but also bought a headband to try different placements if need be.
