Using more than one device?

I’m addressing this question to Bob or anyone else who have experience with using a PEMF mat. I bought a Sedona PEMF mat a few years back but this was before I learned about ICES. Had I known about the difference, I would have saved myself the money and time and bought the M1 instead.

I have extensive nerve damage that caused me chronic pain 24/7 that no analgesic has been able to treat. Just for knee pain alone, I have been struggling with the stairs struggling to pull myself up or supporting myself on the handrails to go down. Exercise and heat therapy have only helped a little to mitigate the pain.

I was using the Sedona mat for more than two years to treat the pain, but didn’t see any results until a few months back. When you have lived with intense pain for 20 years, you grow so tolerant of it, you don’t notice when it stopped but one day, I just realized I have no more knee pain. So even though it’s very slow, I believe the Sedona mat still works to some degree and I’m glad the several thousand dollars used to buy it wasn’t a total waste.

Nevertheless, the M1 device is so much more effective, more convenient (in the sense I don’t have to be lying down to benefit from it) and of course, much much cheaper.

I have read somewhere in this forum that using multiple devices simultaneously is acceptable. What I’d like to know is if I could lie on my mat and still use the M1? It’s not for treating two separate issues but perhaps there would be overlap, as the M1 would focus on a specific region, whereas the mat is affecting the entire body. The reasons for my wanting to use both:

I have extensive nerve damage that affects all four limbs and other parts of the body, resulting in poor circulation and chronic pain. Although I’ve managed to get rid of the knee pain, I still have chronic pain in the shoulders, elbows, back and hips, in addition to muscle spasms when I get especially tired or cold. This appears to be especially severe in winter when the season is colder, so I suspect poor circulation plays a large part.

Another reason is that I am reluctant to throw out the Sedona mat as it has cost me several thousand dollars and I still feel it has some use (albeit not as much as the M1).

I’m sure @Bob will chime in but for sure you can use both… one does not cancel out nor decrease the signal of another. you can use both while getting benefit from the m1👍🏽

Great! Thanks again. I suspected as much but wasn’t quite sure. :+1:

Optimal is correct: the devices should not interfere so they can be used simultaneously. You should feel confident about using both, especially if you find that it is helpful for you. I am glad to know that you eventually got relief from using the S mat, and also that the M1 is especially helpful for you.

Thanks, Bob. While I don’t find it even 20% as helpful as the M1, at least it still gives some longterm benefits for the nerve damage that has affected almost the entire length of my body and the controller box (which takes up the entire area of the nighttable) would not be sitting there as a clunk of useless metal and plastic.

Thank you for all you do.
