no polarity is not marked because of the way the 2x2 coils are configured, we discuss this and how to stack them in several places on this forum. Briefly: you need to use the included hex coil tester to make sure the coils are stacked so that the magnetic fields add, not cancel.
But generally speaking, you do not need to ultra-stack coils because you do not need more power. About 95% of the time, people respond better with lower power than they initially start with, because the ICES-PEMF waveform is very efficient as a biological signal.
