Soltec - anyone used or heard of this?

So this is not a PEMF device but very similiar in IMHO. It was designed by Neurologst Dan Cohen MD who also licensed and marketed the “Breathe Right” nose strip. He started his career by designing the software that reads sleep studies in the 1980 and is still being used. The Soltec product is is interesting in that it calibrates the magnets to personalize to your field. He’s working on getting it approved for specific medical diagnoses besides consumer “sleep and stress” issues.

@Bob Are you familiar with this guy or company? What are your thoughts? Marketing or science? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7tKZg3bk1NU

Funny concept. Use of permanent magnet with are rotated, or moved, etc. Not clear from the description how this should generate “frequency”. In addition it is important to know which poles they use or if they care at all. N and S have different effects.

Issues: Use of Bluetooth - these are sleep interfering EMF. This degrades any sleep concept.

Also: Placement UNDER the bed. Whatever magnets you have, the field get weaker 20 or 30 cm apart from the body.

Anyway. The written descriptions on the site are very sparse and not detailed (unspecific).

I agree with the assessment @hcf.

Don’t know about Soltec but as long as we’re on the subject of sleep, anyone have experience with any of these 3 devices?

  1. Alpha-Stim
  2. Modius Sleep by Neurovalens
  3. CES Ultra

I have only other effective tips:

  • In the bed/sleep latest at 10:30 PM
  • Blueblockers before the eyes when it is dark outside
  • No LED light indoors
  • Blueblocker software for all displays
  • Melatonin IR + TR
  • GABA 500-1000 mg at evening
  • GABA-Upregulators like passion flower and the like.
  • No Microwave-EMF, at least no MW-EMF from 6 PM on…

Best,
Hans

Yup, I personally do all of the above plus all tech is wired. No WiFi. Just curious on Soltec as someone I know was thinking about purchasing.
