Does anyone have a link (Amazon) to the type of tape used to reinforce the coils?
Wow, I didn’t notice this got added. I am not sure what Bob and his wife are using, but this one was recommended on this forum and it sure works well. I agree with the example in the photo - it should go through the ring and down/around the cable to coil connection. I learned that without it going through the ring, the tape would eventually slide down the wire.
Thank you. I used electric tape, not through the ring, and it was not successful.
Do you reinforce the new coils when you initial purchase them? Does this make them last longer? I am starting with a new set and want to maximize the life.
I have learned that at least for my efforts, I must use the silicon tape through the coil, otherwise it just acts like a sheath that slides down pretty soon after putting it around the wire to coil connection point.
@Bob, @TajD or anyone else, could you please hypothesize whether or not the ICES fields can readily pass through this particular silicone tape, as well as electricians (rubber) tape? Has anyone tested any taping materials (using the coil life test chip, or other instruments), to see if there are any which would block or reduce the ICES energy going from the coils to the target body parts.
Also Dr. Dennis, at some point in the past, didn’t you offer a pre-fabricated 1x2 coil array (two coils side-by-side). I see you offer a similar setup (deep field) for the C5, but I’d be curious to know if you will ever bring back the single coil pair set that will work with the M1. Thanks.
I have used the ICES PEMF coil tester on my coils reinforced with the silicon tape and found it lights up the test chip the same as without the silicon tape.
