Hi. I am very new to the forum. I haven’t found this topic in the forum so here goes:
I have lower back pain for a number of years. My recent MRI indicated DDD (degenerative disc disease), degeneration of facet joint resulting in bone spurs and stenosis at L5-S1
I have looked at PRP and Stem Cell therapy injected into the back but it’s very expensive for a 50% possible improvement. One of the problems is getting the stem cells to the effected disc, which has little to no blood circulation.
I wanted to get opinions about the possibility of using PEMF with Stem Cell supplements (like Stemregen.co). The PEMF would improve blood circulation near the disc allowing the extra stem cells to go to work (possible regeneration?)… a much cheaper alternative to injected Stem Cell therapy. I would think you could also use PEMF with the expensive Stem Cell therapy to improve to chances of it working.
My questions are: is this a viable idea and if so, what would you recommend for a PEMF device and frequency of usage (for improving circulation)?
I purchased Stemregen but haven’t yet tried it but probably will next month. I think even without Stemregen, using ICES PEMF plus infrared light at LF-S1 is worth trying .Please document and share your experiences.
