PEMF Therapy Safety & Benign Tumor

Hello,
Is PEMF therapy safe to use on a benign tumor or will it encourage cell growth?

My girlfriend had a tumor removed from her back near her spine as a child though the surgeon decided to leave some of it as it was benign. I am assuming they left it because they didn’t want to risk an injury to the spine or surrounding nerves.

I used the M1 Micropulse on a low setting about a year ago on her back area where the benign tumor is on a low power but noticed the area was swollen afterwards. It subsided later on and I decided not to use PEMF therapy on her back area.

She has used it to ease her menstrual cramps successfully however when placing the loops below her navel.

Lately she has had some pain in her back area and I’m suspecting that the tumor may be pressing against some nerves. She has localized pain as well as down her leg and hand.

We will make an appointment for her to see a doctor to begin running some tests, but in the meantime, is it safe to use PEMF therapy on her lower back?

Thank you all and to Dr. Bob especially.

Best,
Andrew
