PEMF in the day time is better than PEMF in night time

So I just found a research article in which researches punctured rats’ spinal discs and then separated them into two groups that got treated with PEMF. One group got treated in the nighttime and the other in the daytime. The daytime group for whatever reason showed significant improvement over the nighttime group (around 10% according to my calculations). Although both groups got better.

I just wanted to share this because I find fascinating how little we know about PEMF in terms of mechanisms and how seemingly small things such as time of use can have an impact. I guess it does make sense though since cellular activity does vary during a 24hr period and perhaps when there is decreased cellular activity like when sleeping then the cell is less responsive to stimulation of any kind.

Link to paper for anyone interested. Btw, I don’t know why but a major amount of PEMF research seems to come from China.
