In a previous Topic in this Categoryhttps://forum.fluxhealth.co/t/attempt-to-improve-hip-bursitis/3269/11?u=gunplt I wrote about my wife’s surprisingly poor response to PEMF for hip bursitis, which later turned out to be a labral tear. So this post in regards to that, and she also has a ganglion cyst on the tear. She is prone to ganglion cysts (which is often linked to arthritis). Does anyone have any experience using PEMF on either of these issues, or has anyone come across any associated studies? I am planning to use a quad deep-field coil setup like the one @hcf put together and spoke of in this topic: Coil config for 2x8 (for 2x2 in a row)
Update: my wife had a hip replacement to deal with the labral tear and degeneration of the ball (femoral head). She had this on Dec 2, and is now recovering. I have her using the C5 & P9 alternatingly. Using 2 sets of deep field coils withthe C5, and just the internal coils with the P9. Hoping it helps manage pain and edima durong her recovery. Pain has been pretty managable so far, but swelling has been pretty significant. Hopefully between the icewater pad/pump and PEMF it will go down quickly.
