Inflammation/pain in dog---where to start?

Hi y’all, I’m new to PEMF. My dog has used Assisi products at the vet, but I would like a home device, too. I’ve been eyeing the ICES devices for a while. But I don’t know if I’m trying to run before I walk.

Those of you who have used PEMF home devices for orthopedic healing on small animals, do you have guiding insight? Preferably a budget-friendly suggestion, because veterinary expenses add up quickly (not just for my pup).

Thank you so much!!

I’d look into starting with an a9… that’s a good one that will work for your pet or you. the 2x2 coils would cover a wider area if needed too… if you get an ac adapter, your good for the nights and all day you are in the house.

once you find that this works for what you are experimenting with, you’ll eventually find yourself getting another or even the c5 if budgets allows. in the long run it’s cheaper than multiple trips to the docs for you or your pet for pain and inflammation.

keep reading the forum for people’s experiences until you’re comfortable to try for yourself.

welcome to the group and looking forward to hearing about your experiences when you’re ready!

Thank you! I think I’m going to do it. Do you think the A9’s field of penetration could reach hip bones? I know nobody can answer that with certainty, especially since dogs and cats seem to be more sensitive than humans.

Hello. We tried everything for our Lab and PEMF was a game changer! NSAIDSn laser, chiropractor (which we still do). We use the M1 unit - it was great being portable for her degenerative neck disease. Also used it on her elbow for arthritis but it was a little hard to keep it on. Severe lameness in her right limb. 6 weeks of consistently using Omni 8 at level 6 1 hr daily and she can swim 45 min and walk a mile again. She gets sore when she over does it and the PEMF has her back to no lameness after a few days. We really thought at 6 we’d have to put her down. So grateful for her wonderful chiropractor who suggested Bob’s unit!

Thank you so much! I got the A9 because it was all I could afford right now. I really appreciate you sharing your experience. This is my Cuddlepuff right now. It’s too early to see a difference, but I know she feels the machine. Even I can sense it (and I didn’t expect to). Still, it’s really easy to get in my head and second-guess myself!

We also are already doing all the other stuff (NSAIDs, acupuncture and chiropractic adjustments, PT, laser, Adequan, etc.).

Thanks for sharing pics. I hope you get great results as well. It was hard to be patient because you just want them to get relief but it was all worth it after 4-5 weeks. Good luck and look forward to hearing how it goes.
