How likely is it that habituation will occur if I keep using the same protocol?

These days I am always using the M1 in the Alpha Wave protocol at a power of 6. To avoid habituation, I should probably switch to Omni 8. But Alpha Wave with its low frequency is less irritating than Omni 8 which cycles through higher frequencies.

Moreover the display on the M1 has become very dim and it’s difficult to change protocols and it will be a while (possibly a long while) before I can find the expert who can repair the display.

Is it okay to keep using the same protocol? Is there any evidence that habituation will occur?

I have designed in enough pulse pattern variability to minimize habituation. We never hear reports of habituation being a problem, and often people (including myself) can actually reduce the intensity of a pulse protocol over time as tissue recovery occurs. This suggests that the same pulse pattern generally retains its effectiveness over long periods of time, sometimes years, without habituation.

Nontheless, you may benefit from occasional changes to the pulse pattern, but also to changes in coil placement and intensity. These changes do result in flux vector changes, which I think are essentially interpreted by tissues as “different stimuli”, so tissue response may be enhanced by making these types of changes too. I observe this in myself: I get more thorough healing of orthopedic injuries when I change coil position and/or pulse pattern/intensity once in a while, every few weeks in general, or after a month or two.
