How do you use your C5? Use cases and applications

I purchased the c5 and pad a couple years ago for our dog and we believe it helped him live to 14.5 years despite severe choleostasis. Now we have a new puppy that likely doesn’t need it.

I would like to find a way for my family to use the c5 frequently given we have one. We are active and don’t like to sit down for a long time. Therefore, the M1 and P9 get all of the use each day given when we are mostly up and about.

I read through as many posts that I could for those using their c5 and have found the following use cases:

  • c5 with pad under pillow when sleeping
  • c5 with pad on lower back for sleeping, driving, or sitting down near a plug
  • c5 with deep coils on hops and brain when sitting or sleeping.

I would like to ask the forum:

  1. How do you use your c5? What applications, locations, etc? Are you using standard coils, deep field coils, or the pad?
  2. Do you use it with a battery pack to stay mobile?

I have had my C5 for about 6 years along with the A9 and M1. I prefer to use the C5 because I believe it works faster to have the bigger coils, especially when they are stacked and go deeper. I have used the C5 mostly when sitting down. I got an Anker battery pack a few years ago to use while traveling and for the option of being able to walk around. I have used it to stimulate the vagus nerve, and also on my head and shoulder, but mostly on my lower back for arthritis. Three months ago I fell and suffered a few mild compression fractures of my lower back. I used to use 4 of the 2X2 coil arrays. After the back injury I bought the 4 coil arrays that are taped into the pad formation. The pad is perfect for treating my back. It would also be easy to place under a sheet or in a pillow case for sleeping, but I have not tried it yet… My right shoulder never got better using the C5 and I found out why last year. My top vertebrae, called the Atlas, was knocked out of place from a fall several years ago. I only learned that this could be an issue after my husband started seeing a NUCCA trained chiropractor for extreme vertigo caused by a bad car accident. The highly trained specialist traditional doctor that he drove 5 hours to see on several occasions was zero help and sent him to PT. The vertigo was gone after only a few treatments by the specially trained chiropractor so I decided to get checked. I had no idea that a simple thing like that could cause pain in hips, back, etc. My lower back is much better now but I continue to use the C5 on it every day for the arthritis, I want to maintain what I have and help with healing. It might be useful for prevention if anyone in your family has a history of lower back arthritis. I had no idea how bad my back was until I had a CT scan for kidney stones 15 years ago. I believe my healthy lifestyle probably helped keep the pain away. I have used fish oil and a lot of supplements for inflammation prevention for about 20 years.
