I just learned that in a pair of coils one coil will send electricity in a certain direction on the smooth side and the other coil of the same pair will send electricity in the opposite direction on the smooth side. In the next pulse currents are reversed.
My question is if in one coil pair smooth side of coil 1 spins clockwise and smooth side of coil 2 is counter, in the next pulse it alternates, why do we place the coils smooth side face to face when targeting something deeper in the body. If we follow the smooth side face to face configuration don’t they cancel each other out? one coil clockwise the other counter? shouldnt it be smooth side and bumpy side facing same direction?
Sorry if this is silly. Just wanted to get this right.
