Just got his latest newsletter saying you can prevent cataracts and eventual surgery by using PEMF. I can find no peer reviewed studies supporting this, zero. Thoughts?
Not to discourage or make light of your question, but I think all of us would need good luck finding any decent peer reviewed studies on anything that doesn’t have crazy amounts of profit margin. A device that costs $400-$800 that basically lasts forever and has solved or helped with as many health issues as it has for our family is not exactly something that life sciences investors think about investing in. On average the life science investor capital space thinks about patented pharmaceuticals and life long repeat customers.
I get it, and PEMF ICES has cured several issues with me (foot, shoulder, etc). Your eyes are something different and not something you just experiment on.
I get it. If you haven’t already, I recommend checking out the other posts on this forum about using ICES PEMF on the eyes. I don’t think they are specifically about cataracts, but you can see others’ findings.
If you are in general interested in preventing/curing cataracts with no special focus on PEMF/ICES, take into consideration e. g. DMSO (if unknown, google for it).
A - in my opinion - very good article you can find here
Maybe you could combine both methods as I do for many other health problems.
We have been using dmso for RSD and other muscle/tendon issues successfully since the '80s and my wife was an actual in-person patient of Dr. Stanley Jacob, the father of dmso. That said, nowhere does this article state how to use dmso for the eyes and putting dmso in the eyes is incredibly dangerous. Also note the “Midwestern Dr.”, as is his colleague Dr. Mercola, are money-hungry grifters and altho some things they say are true, in the case of Mercola, he is factually incorrect 1/2 the time and primarily concerned with making a buck off his supplements. If you want a fact-based health resource, Dr. Greger is far superior.
If looking for an information how to use DMSO, you can refer to following article:
In Germany, actually, it is recommended to use 0.5% DMSO solution (you can buy), even though it’s stated, that there are no known issues with higher concentration (as recommended in the above article). Since there are no new scientific studies for known reasons, practical experience is based on user reports only.
Thanks, I’ll look it over.
FYI: Yoho and “Midwestern Dr.” are not the same person according to AI.
