Different settings C5

Hello.
I have used the Soma Pulse for 10 years for all kinds of injuries .
Originally to heal dental surgery after an titanium implant removal

Now have a C5 It says all the modes C5, P2, A9 all have the ICEs technology.
What are the differences, can you direct me to an explanation?

I developed and produced the SP model P2a for Bill Pawluk about a decade ago based on the best ICES®-PEMF technology I had available at that time. This product page was posted many years ago (so it is outdated):

Since then I have made continuous improvements to the ICES®-PEMF technology. This amounts to cumulative improvements in energy efficiency, protocol selection, user interface, durability, manufacturability, cost (which we pass on to the consumer, resulting in a price reduction of about 64% for an equivalent upgraded system, the A9) upgraded and optimized internal components and layout, portability, supply chain stability, electro-magnetic design optimization for biological effects, and other improvements.

Our current products (A9, M1, C5, B5, P9) have all been improved continuously since then and all have the most recent version of the technology (hardware and firmware) that can be integrated into each of those platforms.

Explanation of differences between products:

The M1 is ultra-portable, powered by a camcorder battery, has one output channel and has dozens of pulse protocols requested by users over the years for various applications.

The C5 is essentially four M1 circuits and provides four output channels driven synchronously, has very similar protocols to the M1, and has a very similar simple user interface as the M1. It requires an external 5.0 Volt power source, ideally by using a standard USB charger (not a data) port.

The B5 has very similar physical architecture to the C5, but allows the user to select and program the output protocols (pulse patterns), but the B5 is intended for research with PEMF and generally is far to complex to use for the general consumer, while conferring no electro-magnetic benefit whatsoever. Think of this as a research tool, not really appropriate for the general user.

The P9 is electronically identical to the M1, but it is powered by a 9V battery which is much more readily available world-wide, and it also has an internal coil, so it can be used without needing to plug in an external coil.

The A9 is the earliest model that we still offer, which was two major upgrades since the SP P2a mentioned above. The internal architecture is different from the other models. It is as robust, simple, portable, and low-cost as possible. But it generates the same pulse shape as all other ICES®-PEMF products.

It is important to note that all ICES®-PEMF systems have a biologically-optimized pulse waveform shape. Extensive research and testing has demonstrated that this patented waveform, which I describe extensively throughout this forum, in issued US patents, and in several peer-reviewed scientific papers, is about 500 X more energy efficient than crude “square wave” PEMF systems while yielding equivalent or superior biological effects. Therefore, none of our ICES®-PEMF products will offer any of the crude, inefficient, and usually much less effective waveform shapes.
