Hi Linda, thanks so much for sharing your experience on spooky2, . I just bought their GX pro kit and scalar machines, in the process of installing them, I noticed that the Spooky2 software installer is unsigned, meaning Windows cannot verify its authenticity.
For security reasons, I need clarification on the following:
- Does Spooky2 have a code-signing certificate? If not, why?
- Why does the installer request Administrator access (User Account Control Prompt)?
- What measures does your company take to ensure the software is safe from tampering, phishing or malware?
I appreciate your time and look forward to hearing your thoughts about this. I have written to them twice but have not heard back.
