I wanted to share my experience with my kitty, Erebus, in the hope that it may be helpful to others.
I used the A-9 device with Erebus, who had been dealing with chronic liver and kidney disease for several years. Within about seven months of beginning to use the A-9, his kidney and liver blood markers had returned to the normal range.
Lab Results
Unfortunately, I was away due to illness and don’t have the blood tests from immediately before I started using the A-9. Because of that, I cannot document exactly how abnormal his levels were at the beginning.
I started using the A-9 with Erebus at the beginning of April 2025. At that time, he was very ill and had Chronic Kidney Disease for several years.
On June 1, 2025, his creatinine was 2.8, which was still high. I suspect it may have been considerably higher before I began using the A-9, but I don’t have those earlier test results to confirm this.
By November 11, 2025, his creatinine had decreased to 2.0, which was within the laboratory’s normal range. His liver markers had also returned to the normal range.
His Symptoms
Before using the A-9, Erebus had many concerning symptoms, including:
- Very bad breath
- Matted, thinning, and falling-out fur
- Extremely low body weight
- Frequent vomiting
- Frequent urination
- Constipation
- Very low energy
- Sleeping much of the time and not wanting to go outside or play
- Goopy eyes
- Poor appetite and periods when he wouldn’t eat
How he is doing now
He has improved tremendously:
- His bad breath is much better
- His fur is soft and shiny again
- He has gained more than a pound
- His eyes are less goopy
- He has much more energy
- He wants to go outside and play every day
- Overall, he looks and acts so much better
Erebus has multiple health issues, including gastrointestinal problems, and he still has some ongoing symptoms. However, the improvement in his overall condition has been remarkable.
What I Did
I started using the A-9 with the large coil on Erebus as much as possible.
I placed A-9 units in his favorite resting places—his cat beds, the sofa, and chairs—so he would have frequent opportunities to be near the device. Sometimes he would use it for only a couple of hours, while at other times he would remain in one of his beds for much longer.
I used two A-9 units, placing one in each of his cat beds. In the evenings, I moved one of them into the bedroom, where he sleeps at night, and powered it with a rechargeable 9V battery.
When he was lying in his bed, I would position the device underneath him, near the kidney area (around the end of his ribs). At night, he would move around, so I don’t know exactly how long he remained positioned over the device.
I also used a battery adapter to keep the units powered continuously, essentially 24/7, in different locations around the house. That way, whenever Erebus chose one of his favorite resting places, there was a good chance he would be near the A-9. When I saw him resting, I would adjust the device to the appropriate position.
I also use an A-9 myself for chronic health issues. Previously, we were living in a home with mold issues, so I wanted to give us both as much support as possible.

My Gratitude
I am so happy to see Erebus healthier. I am incredibly grateful to Bob for making the A-9 device available, to Chris for assistance, and to Bob’s brother for trying the A-9 with his kitty, which is how I found out about using it for that. See post: OPEN STUDY: Reversal of kidney disease in cat.
I am sharing Erebus’s experience because I hope it may be helpful to other people who have cats dealing with kidney or liver problems.
This is simply our personal experience; the timing of his improvement and the changes I observed mean so much to me.
I’m happy to answer questions about how I used the device with Erebus.
I can only put on image in a post. I will post lab results separately.
