I noticed that the coils connect using a standard 3.5mm connector that’s used for headphones. So can I use any 3.5mm audio extender from the market if I need to extend the length of the cable?

Is it safe to do – does using a third party 3.5mm extender cable impact the effectiveness of the M1 in any way?
I wear the coils on my neck and the cable isn’t quite long enough to reach my pants pocket.
sure, just be sure that all the connections are firmly complete and held in place. Be mindful for partial pull-outs. Use the hexagonal coil tester frequently to verify that all connections are good.
