Broken finger - non -union after 6 weeks

Hello. My 15 year old son broke his middle finger at the top joint and unfortunately at 6 weeks it was declared a non-union with nothing left to do but live with it. He doesn’t have pain when doing normal activities, but when doing sports it hurts and he has to stop (tennis is his passion).
We are considering buying a PEMF machine. Has anyone had any success with them with a non-union? How would we use it on a finger ? How would we attach it, for how long per day and what setting ? Thank you in advance .

My suggestion:

Use a Model A9 (our least expensive and simplest to use)

Shape the coils so they are elongated to fit along the top and bottom of the finger, as shown in this video:

Place the coils on top and bottom, or on opposite sides of the finger, but not around the finger like a ring.

Place both coils so that the bumpy sides are away from the finger
Wrap with any kind of bandage or anything else non-metallic to hold the coils in place on the finger

Set the intensity to medium “M”
Insert a freshly-charged 9 Volt battery
Change batteries frequently, every 3 to 4 hours if possible.

Use for at least 6 hours every day, longer is better, but use it daily

Allow several weeks.
When healing occurs, continue use for at least a week or two after full healing has happened for maximum recovery.

Then, please return here to tell us what you tried, what you observed, and the outcome.
We need to hear if it works or not. If not, we can make suggestions to try to improve the effects.

This will help a lot of people in the future with similar injuries.

You miraculously came to the right forum, technology and expertise. Follow the inventor, @Bob 's post. My broken elbow healed 40% faster. @Bob’s tech is the non union device of choice IMO for bone breaks, both non union and union breaks alike.

This publication, and some of the ones dealing with traumatic brain injury, convinced me to invest in my first PEMF unit.
