Beginner to pemf

Hello. I suffer from chronic muscle tightness due to stress mostly. I am wondering whether is worth to invest in a full mat style or go for something portable like m1. From one side I read that full mat charges the blood cells which is ideal but from other I don’t know if it’s really needed. For example m1 is localized but doesn’t affect also the whole body? My pain is localized but from time to time I have pain in my wrists, low back pain etc.

My recommendation is get the A9, M1 or P9. It is incredibly efficacious. “charging cells” is not a valid technical term and is considered marketing lingo. Dr. Bob Dennis has incredibly detailed posts on what matters when designing PEMF systems, what he has learned over the last 25-30 years and implemented in his technology and why it is designed that it is. Also, I started 2 minute deep stretches (worked up tolerance) for the muscles all around shoulders and it helped incredibly.

Interesting recommendation Taj. I have tendon inflammation on top of my feet to my toes and the 2x2 coils provide relief with the deep relief coil under my feet, pressed against a pillow, sitting up in bed. I’m thinking the P9 might be something I could attach to the top of my feet and sleep with them on. It would be pricey but it might come to that, any advice? Thanks, E. J.

In your description would the ICES PEMF of one device be on top of the other or are they in different places on your foot?

Thanks for your reply Taj. One position I use is with the C-5 model, the deep field coil against a pillow , two other connection are on top of my feet (2x2" coils) with a pillow on top of that. However, this isn’t my sleeping position, it’s to control the pain so I sleep sitting up. This doesn’t happen often, usually I keep the deep field coil against a pillow so i can stretch into it during the night and a 2x2 coil under my ankles to insure circulation ( warmth!). I’m just looking for a connection where I can sleep in the fetus position all night but maybe that’s asking too much. I did try the pad for the model C-5 but the wires connecting the pad became exposed from my shifting during the night or the weird position of the wires?

I definitely understand on the c5 wires from the coils aspect… Do you use Omni 8 on the C5 or which protocol? If you are using Omni8 on c5, that maps to A9 protocol (no options to change protocols) so an A9 could be the most affordable option. If you want to use different protocols for your feet where wires aren’t an issue, then I do agree that a P9 would be ideal in this scenario b/c the 9v lithium ion batteries would get you through the entire night without issue.

I greatly appreciate your input. I always use Omni8 or 9 sometimes delta on my M1. Glad to know about the A9. It never caught my attention before. Thanks much!

A9 is great and also can take lithium ion 9v batteries. The p9 is like the m1 allowing the selection of different protocols beyond the default on the A9 (akin to Omni 8) and also has a coil built into the package so you technically don’t need a wired pair of coils if you don’t want (it has an optional jack to plug in a pair of coils). If the goal is another set of coils that can be wrapped around the feet that are running Omni-8, then the A9 would save you hundreds and do the job. Good luck and please report back your findings.

Thanks again, Taj. I’m doing research on the A9 so I’ll have it handy in the future, if I need it. My symptoms are manageable but I tried not using the deep field coil in order to change the position of my feet recently- bad idea. For now, I’m keeping the field coil against a pillow and the 2x2 coil by my ankle. I’m also enlisting Copilot’s help in choosing shoes that support the natural shape of my feet and lessen the symptoms I’ve been managing with my PEMF at night.
