@TajD: Standard IR-heat-lamp and closed eyes? Like when treating a cold? Or also an LED redlight-panel with different wavelength like 68x0/8xx etc. ?
I understand, but up to now I have nothing bad to report about ICES, not even read anything bad here. Start with low intensity. Maybe the Alpha-Program, because its the head. Thats a minimum of impulses per second.
FYI: For Eye-Support we take âMacu-Guard with Astaxanthinâ from LEF. You could take also Astaxanthin 6-12 mg solo. I prefer there âSports Researchâ, because they do not have critical additives. Carnosin drops (LEF âBright eyesâ) should also be o.k⊠I have a huge book for eye related stuff & herbs, but thats currently quite low on my reading list. My wife unfortunately does not like to read English science-books with 1000 pages.
I used a 660/830nm 54W bulb and I looked at the bulb with eyes open for a couple minutes a day for a couple weeks.
Thanks. She actually takes all those supplements but theyâve help little so far. Need to find more case studies of people using PEMF directly on eyes for post eye shingles pain/nerve/vision treatment.
Thats a) very specific and b) PEMF is not PEMF. Its hard to compare any PEMF study, if the study is not junk at all, because on none knows for sure what they did.
I mean anecdotal and specifically ICES A9, C5, etc. ideally. I canât afford for my wife to go blind, her vision is already severely impaired as well as being disabled.
In that case, I would try it out before I let my wife do it. I do this quite often, since Iâm the âresearch guyâ in our partnership. Most important to me is: Do no harm. So I fully understand your concerns!
BTW: I also use Vipocetine as a selective (head) VasodĂșlator. There are also benefits in regard to the eyes documented. Here is my personal summary with a Google-Translate-Link, because the original is in German: https://hcfricke-com.translate.goog/2022/06/08/vinpocetin-verbessert-die-gehirnfunktion-u-a-blut-zirkulation-demenz-parkinson-reduziert-entzuendungen-nf-kb-tnfα-mikro-thrombosen-was-zu-nootropika-dosierung-quellen/?_x_tr_sl=de&_x_tr_tl=en&_x_tr_hl=de
From that in regard to eyes: âProtection against retinal ischemia in cell studies [41][42], as well as mention in the package insert by Cavinton [6].â
Best,
Hans
@TajD: Thanks! My wife ask what the distance of your head to the LED-bulb was. I have such a bulb, but that thing is very, very intense
I hold it about 6-8 inches away from my head.
Wow - that IS intense with a 54 W LED bulb. I had fear, that I would damage may eyes. Do you blink into the lamp? Some seconds open eyes, then clued again? I think at this distance there should enough even pass through the closed eyelids.
Yes, exactly - I am âhold blinkingâ eyes. Yes, I agree on closed eyelids. I had a 24W bulb and it stopped one floater with eyes closed.
