I needed two simultaneously going at night on the wrists over both fiberglass casts . I bought a9 and m1 initially and then got a p9 just to have protocol options on both wrists. … Now she has m1 and p9 and I’m using a9 on my back heh heh.
I’ve since purchased arm band phone jogging holders to hold the m1/p9. For the m1 I’m using a mini USB cable connected to a mini charger brick that doesn’t auto shutdown with low current draw. Everything fits in there with excess coil cables tucked in. Then I wrap it around her casts and it’s super tidy for bed time . I use vet tape to secure the coils around her scaphoid sandwich style. So far so good.
Setup super convenient so far. I wish I knew about ices pemf sooner. I only learned of this around 2 weeks into the break and ordered it immediately on eBay and took at while to get to Canada. Hoping this will help still and get her out of a cast sooner :(. Here’s a dad hoping and trying everything.
My daughter got a new xray today. She was 6 weeks into both wrist in casts due to scaphoid fractures
The doctor was impressed. Really solid clinical union on left side and right side. They deemed her ready to start physio and decided not to put her back into casts (which was the original plan) . She’s now in just splints.
I mean… I dunno. … Coincidence? Or ices pemf p9 m1 a9 for the win here???
ICES PEMF for the win! That is awesome. Consistent accelerated healing as what I experienced with my broken elbow (ICES PEMF saved me about 3 out of 8 weeks). Totally remarkable technology. @Bob rocks.
