A9 OG hardware vs new a9

I’m confused with the information around the net …

There’s apparently an a9 original version with no on/off switch and only power modes low medium high.

And a newer version with on and off switch , and a newer X mode higher power.

If I have the newrr hardware

  1. Can I use the X mode and use 4coil array?
  2. Is the newer hw supporting gen6 ices ?
  3. Is the newer a9 using omni8 fixed protocol still ?
  4. With X mode is that equivalent to P9’s power level 15?

Thanks

Thank you sir.

I literally bought p9 m1 and a9 all at once lol

well, that shows commitment!

As always, we will be sure to deliver the best customer support possible.

Thanks @Bob

My daughter broke both scaphoid bones

I needed two simultaneously going at night on the wrists over both fiberglass casts . I bought a9 and m1 initially and then got a p9 just to have protocol options on both wrists. … Now she has m1 and p9 and I’m using a9 on my back heh heh.

Any tips?

Looks like you have a good plan.

One thing that I find very useful is to use ice pack wraps to hold M1/A9/P9 in place on arm and leg positions.

I got this one last week from amazon:

This is a cheap simple one with two pockets to hold ice packs. I had a nagging knee injury, and it worked perfectly.

The way to use these is to just remove the ice pack and put your A9/M1/P9 in the empty pocket where the ice pack was.

For your daughter’s wrists, you could try this one:

Same brand as the knee wrap I just got, and it is built the same way, so it will probably work perfectly.

Let me know if you try it and how well it works.

Thank you @Bob for your response and suggestions

I’ve since purchased arm band phone jogging holders to hold the m1/p9. For the m1 I’m using a mini USB cable connected to a mini charger brick that doesn’t auto shutdown with low current draw. Everything fits in there with excess coil cables tucked in. Then I wrap it around her casts and it’s super tidy for bed time . I use vet tape to secure the coils around her scaphoid sandwich style. So far so good.

My daughter is a trooper and is believing in this therapy. Hoping for a speedy recovery

@4a494e, excellent. Please let us know how it goes.

Setup super convenient so far. I wish I knew about ices pemf sooner. I only learned of this around 2 weeks into the break and ordered it immediately on eBay and took at while to get to Canada. Hoping this will help still and get her out of a cast sooner :(. Here’s a dad hoping and trying everything.

Wanted to give you an update whoever is reading

My daughter got a new xray today. She was 6 weeks into both wrist in casts due to scaphoid fractures

The doctor was impressed. Really solid clinical union on left side and right side. They deemed her ready to start physio and decided not to put her back into casts (which was the original plan) . She’s now in just splints.

I mean… I dunno. … Coincidence? Or ices pemf p9 m1 a9 for the win here???

ICES PEMF for the win! That is awesome. Consistent accelerated healing as what I experienced with my broken elbow (ICES PEMF saved me about 3 out of 8 weeks). Totally remarkable technology. @Bob rocks.

@4a494e That is awesome, thanks.

@TajD I am humbled, but also feel a bit O.P. thanks.
