A9 malfunction. Stuck pulsing after long use

Had my a9 close to a year now. I use it 12 hours plus a day. Recently been using it longer 16-24 daily. On the second day of using the a9 f0r sixteen to 24 hours i noticed the pulsing pattern was stuck. I have a 2nd a9 for back up so i compared the patterns. I noticed it went back to normal after not using it for a day and also using it on a low setting not H.

I thought this would fix it. I’ve been using 2 devices on low and after 3 days same issue. It seems to work again if i switch to M. But then will get stuck after a while. this happens to my recently purchased a9 as well. Ive read others use their a9 just as much as I do. Any tips? I thought just using it on low would fix it but now low is stuck and medium works. Not sure what to do.

I have a c5 clearing customs knock on wood. But still would like to use my a9’s.

thanks in advance

Have you tried changing batteries? Have you tried using it plugged in? Does this still happen?

I used my first M1 for 4 years and it developed a cold solder joint type issue where when I plugged in the coil it would only work if there was pressure on the jack going downward. I mailed it in to Bob’s customer service desk and they fixed it for a nominal fee.

I tried plugging it in and still the same issue. The only thing that fixes it, but it takes time, is shutting it off for a few hours. I’m just worried that I shouldn’t wear it over night If it’s not performing like intended I would rather power it off. NOt sure if I"m damaging it.

I just got the c5 today. I’m reading that people use this device around the clock. Is this accurate? Expensive device I want to make sure I"m taking care of it.

I have used my c5 around the clock, Omni-8 intensity 9 for our pup for 2 years. I had no issues.

I think you may want to ping customer support about your a9 and explore paying to have it repaired.

Thanks Taj for the advice. I will reach out to support.
