2x2 Coil Array Question

I’ve reviewed all the posts and I never saw a definitive answer on as to if I need to DOUBLE the power on an M1 when using the 2x2 array.

One post says they were advised by the manufacturer to only use an M1 at HALF power or below when using the 2x2…

Please advise

The battery of the M1 can not really support the 2x2 over long time with adequate current. Thats all. So use it, but not at maximum power level (anyway not advised) and change the battery early. Alternatively use a power bank, a A9 or B5/C5 with power-bank.

Would using the USB Mini-B with the M1 (instead of rechargeable batteries) improve the power output of the 2x2? Could you then use max power?

Thanks!

It’s ok to use the 2×2 with the M1 and power it with the USB cable then, correct?

As far as I understand, yes. But you have to make sure, that the battery is removed then.

My understanfing is yes, using the USB power input (5 volts) instead of the Batteries (3.7 volts) will allow fo a little more intensity when using the M1 with the 2x2 coil array. Additionally you don’t experience a drop in performance over time like with a battery. You should be able to use whatever intensity setting (“max power”) you feel appropriate.
